About
“I’d never picked up a gun before and was quite nervous, but Paul made the whole experience enjoyable and relaxed. His patience and clear instruction meant I was breaking clays within the first session — something I didn’t think would be possible! I left feeling confident and excited to come back for more.”
Sarah L - First Time Shooter
“Paul has a real gift for teaching. He explains things simply, makes it fun, and gives you confidence every step of the way. My son and I had a fantastic session together and it’s now something we can enjoy as a family. Highly recommended for beginners.”
James R., Family Session
“We booked Paul for a corporate clay shooting event, and it couldn’t have gone better. He managed to engage a large group with mixed abilities, kept everyone safe, and most importantly made sure they all had a brilliant time. Professional, organised, and great fun.”
Emma T., Corporate Event Organiser
“As someone returning to the sport after years away, I was worried I’d picked up too many bad habits. Paul’s coaching was spot on — he helped me get back to basics without making me feel like a beginner again. I’m now shooting better than ever.”
Ed B, Returning Shooter

About Paul
Paul Thomas first picked up a gun as a teenager almost 40 years ago, and has always been a keen shooter, taking time out in between to raise a family before returning to the sport with even more enthusiasm. His love of the outdoors underpins everything he does, from English Sporting and Game shooting to Simulated Game and fishing.
A keen advocate for simulated game days, Paul enjoys their cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and the opportunity they provide to enjoy nature in a way that mirrors live game shooting. Away from the shooting ground, he’s also a keen cook with a love of British game – with plans to share recipes later this year.
